WA State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition 2025 event information

The Western Australia State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition 2025 is back on Saturday 21 June 2025 at the Jim Webster Pavillion at the Claremont Showground. This event is sponsored by Ravensburger.

The competition has two divisions:

Teams (2 hour time limit, 4 people, 1000 pc puzzle)
Individuals (2.5 hour time limit, 500 pc puzzle)

Check-in

When you arrive at the event, head to the check-in desk. Check-in opens about one hour before each division. You must be seated at least 15 minutes before the competition start time. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

You will have an allocated table at this event. If you have accessibility needs, let us know before the event so we can assign you a table that meets your needs.

Timetable

9am – 9.40am: Doors open and check-in for teams
10am – 12.00pm: Teams competition
12.00pm – 12.30pm: Teams prize presentation
12.00pm – 1.00pm: Check-in for solos
1.00pm – 3.30pm: Solo competition
3.30pm – 4pm: Solo prize presentation

Public Transport

Train: The Showground is just a five-minute walk from Claremont Station. Due to track maintenance, replacement buses will be operating between Fremantle and Claremont. The Showground Station will not be open for this event.
Bus: Several bus stops are located nearby, providing convenient access from different parts of the city.

Be sure to check the Transperth website before you visit.

Parking

General patron parking will be via Gate 8, and parking in Higham Park. Onsite parking costs $15 per car, per entry.

The venue is equipped with accessible entrances and facilities to ensure everyone enjoys their visit. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance.

Refreshments: Onsite kiosk serving food and drinks.

Prizes: The top three winners in each category (solos and teams) will take home a Ravensburger puzzle. Raffle prizes and spot prizes are also available on the day, including prizes for best costume.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite. If you are joining the waitlist, please specify which type of ticket you are looking for after your name (e.g. Emily Smith PAIRS).
