ACT Jigsaw Puzzle Competition 2025 event information
The ACT Jigsaw Puzzle Competition 2025 is back on Sunday 19 October 2025 at the Fitzroy Pavilion at EPIC. This event is sponsored by La La Land.
The competition has two divisions:
- Teams (2 hour time limit, 4 people, 1000 pc puzzle)
- Individuals (2.5 hour time limit, 500 pc puzzle)
Timing
- 10am – 10.40am: Doors open and check-in for teams
- 11am – 1pm: Teams competition
- 1pm – 1.30pm: Teams prize presentation
- 1pm – 1.40pm: Check-in for Solos
- 2pm – 4.30pm: Solo competition
- 4.30pm – 5pm: Solo prize presentation
Check-in
When you arrive, head to the check-in desk with your QR code ready. Check-in opens one hour before each division. You must be seated at least 15 minutes before the competition start time. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
You will have an allocated table at this event. If you have accessibility needs, let us know before the event so we can assign you a table that meets your needs.

Getting to the venue
Download the Exhibition Park in Canberra Precinct Map.
From the city
If you are travelling north on Northbourne Ave (Federal Highway), turn left at the traffic lights onto Flemington Road. The main entrance (Gate 2) is located approximately 200 metres on your right (note there may be no right turn into the venue at various times of the day and during the staging of major events).
Alternatively, you can continue to the second set of traffic lights located near the Service Station/McDonalds. Turn left onto Stirling Avenue and enter through Gate 4.
Public transport
- Train: The Showground is just a five-minute walk from Claremont Station.
- Bus: Several bus stops are located nearby, providing convenient access from different parts of the city.

Parking
Exhibition Park in Canberra has ample car parking available onsite for events, including designated car parks, building forecourts and grassed areas.
Accessibility
The venue is equipped with accessible entrances and facilities to ensure everyone enjoys their visit.
What’s available on the day
Raffle and merch: There will be a raffle and AJPA merchandise on sale. Bring your AJPA membership card for 20% off merch.
Pop-up shop: TBC
Pick up a 2025 membership pack: Become a member at the event and pick up your membership pack on the day, saving $15 on postage.
Prizes:The top three winners in each category will take home a puzzle. The winner of the solo category will win a free place in the solo final at the Australian National Jigsaw Puzzle Competition. Raffle prizes and spot prizes are also available on the day, including prizes for best costume.
